Woman stripped, tortured after husband died during sex

A lady has been stripped, tortured and accused of killing her husband with overdose sex, after the man collapsed and died while making love.
The incident, which happened in Aguleri community, Anambra State on Saturday, was also video taped, showing the woman being paraded naked for allegedly killing her husband.
Though the identity of the woman was not revealed, a trending video showed her husband lying lifeless, while the lady was stripped naked and all manner of abuses were rained on her.
The members of the community said she killed her husband with overdose of sex and accused her of so many unprintable things.
Meanwhile, the Anambra State police command has confirmed the incident, saying that the lady was later rescued from the mob, while one suspect has been arrested in relation to the inhuman treatment metted on the lady.
Police spokesperson in Anambra State, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, who revealed this to TATTLENG, said the command was still studying the video with the aim of identifying more suspects and bringing them to book.
He said: “The Anambra State Police operatives have rescued a female victim from an angry mob in Aguleri.
“The rescue, was as a result of a report from a trending video where a lady was publicly molested and assaulted on an alleged incident of causing the death of her late husband.
“The Commissioner of Police CP Echeng Echeng while describing the act as barbaric, stated that one suspect is already in custody and ordered immediate study of the video with the aim to identify the suspects, arrest and bring them to book.
“Further information revealed that the deceased had already been buried before the video started trending. The victim was rescued and she is currently receiving medical care in the hospital.”

NSCDC arrests six suspected railway line vandals in Enugu

A six-man gang allegedly specialised in vandalising railway lines was on Thursday, 28th April 2022, apprehended by the Enugu State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
Denny Manuel, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, in a statement explained that the suspects were apprehended on 28th April 2022 at Ubahu Community in Enugu East Local Government Area of the state in collaboration with the Garrison Command, 82 Division of the Nigerian Army.
He further explained that a series of intelligence synergy between the Corps and the Nigerian Army made the arrest possible.
The spokesman gave the names of the suspects as Zakari Ishaka, 25, of Katsina; Amadu Danladi 40, of Kano; Abdulkareem Haruna 19 of Katsina; Ousman Idris, 19, Kano; Musa Hamza, 23, Kano; and Arma Yau Magaji, 42, Katsina.
The statement stated, “After sustained surveillance and intelligence gathering about their nefarious activities, our men arrested the suspects while they were conveying the vandalised railway slippers belonging to the Nigeria Railway Corporation Eastern District Enugu, in a truck with registration number BSA 189 XA.”
It added that items recovered from the suspects include a sizeable quantity of rail slippers and rail tracks cut to size and other railway materials, and a truck with registration BSA 189 XA.
It said that the suspects are already helping Corps in its investigation to unravel other culprits and their sponsors.
Denny Manuel then appealed to the citizens of Enugu State to always provide the command with useful information to curb the activities of criminals and safeguard public infrastructure.

Police Apprehend Armed Robbery Suspects In Lagos, Recover Arms

Policemen of the Ilemba Hausa Police Division on said it’s command seven armed robbery/murder suspects and recovered a silver-colored Sienna bus with Reg No. LSR 509 HB, a locally made double barrel pistol and four live cartridges at Mojirade Street, Shibiri, Lagos. 

The prompt arrest of the Robbery suspects followed a tip-off from Lagosians to the Divisional Police Officer of Ilemba Hausa Division who led his men to the criminal hideout where seven members of the gang were arrested while others fled. 

The suspects include one Esther Newman ‘F’, Joel Anaba ‘m’, Ruben Ude ‘m’, Chinedu Emenike ‘m’, Abuchi Peter ‘m’, Chima Simon ‘m’ and James John ‘m’.  Items recovered in the Sienna bus include one locally made double barrel pistol, four live cartridges, one machete, one knife, two screwdrivers, twelve mobile phones, one access bank ATM card with the name Newton Newman, some substances suspected to be Indian Hemp and one dead snail. Confirming their arrest to newsmen, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the suspects are also being investigated for the murder of one Sgt. NSCDC Apprehends Six Railway Line Vandals In Enugu

The Enugu Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC says it has apprehended a six-man gang specialising in the vandalisation of railway lines in the state.
