NDLEA Launches Manhunt for Notorious Lekki Drug Dealer

NDLEA Initiates Search for Drug Dealer Operating in Lekki

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has initiated a manhunt for Sowunmi Ayodeji Kayode, a well-known drug dealer operating in Lekki, Lagos. According to NDLEA’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, the dealer managed to escape capture by driving his car into an NDLEA officer.

Raid at Suspect’s Residence

The agency’s anti-narcotics officers executed a search operation at Kayode’s residence located at 2/3 Adetola Ayeni Close, Lekki, Lagos. The action was based on credible intelligence suggesting his involvement in illicit drug dealing.

Dramatic Escape

When NDLEA officers arrived at Kayode’s residence, he was not present. However, he returned while the search was in progress. In a surprising turn of events, upon spotting the officers, he reversed his car, rammed into an NDLEA officer, knocked down his gate, and crashed his vehicle into a neighboring compound’s fence.
